Project Description (project objective): The Police of the Czech Republic in connection with the fulfillment of legal obligations operates about 60 IT systems. These IT systems do not have uniform data models, they use various information technologies and they are located in different geographic locations. Among these IT systems are search systems, systems supporting criminalistics investigation, economics systems, systems supporting personnel agenda and systems shared with the EU member states. Many systems contain particular information that is accessible to the user only within the system itself using its tools. It is therefore very difficult to find relevant context and information across all the systems.
