Norway grants 2009 - 2014
Presentation of the Programme CZ14 - Schengen Cooperation - Norway Grants 2009 – 2014 in the following areas: Schengen Cooperation and Combatting Cross-Borerd and Organised Crime, including Trafficking and Itinerant Criminal Goups.
- BEFOREHAND DEFINED PROJECTS OF CZ14 PROGRAMME
- Project No. 1 – Schengen Cooperation and Combatting Cross-border Crime
- Project No. 2 – Establishing a National Control Authority (NCA)
- Project No. 3 – The expansion of a system of automated controls of electronic travel documents at international airports (e-gate and full page documents scanners)
- Project No. 4 – Application of Geographic information System of the Police of the Czech Republic in direct duty
- Project No. 5 – Providing a unified platform for data mining of the information systems of the Police of the Czech Republic
- Project No. 6 – Implementation of police specialists in the area of the police work concerning the Roma minority group in the socially segregated localities

Priority programme area
Justice and internal affairs – Co-operation within Schengen in combat the border and organised crime including illicit human trafficking and migration of criminal groups.
Global objective of programme
Increasing of inhabitants security by means of the improvement of the effectiveness of the co-operation among law enforcement authorities in Schengen countries in the fight against organised crime including human trafficking.
Results and outputs of programme
Increasing of competence of police officers according to Schengen regulations and the use of the accessible technical equipment for cross-border police co-operation, improvement of planning and time of the police reaction, increase of the effectiveness and safety during the border controls at the international airports, analysis of previous and current problems in the area of the police work with Roma communities and their improvement and last but not least also strenghtening of knowledge, how to improve relations between the police and Roma communities.
